1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BookJonas or any related services, including our website, platform, or tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. What We Do

BookJonas is an AI-powered bookkeeping automation tool designed to help small business owners and freelancers organize financial information by processing uploaded bank statements and generating basic cash-basis ledgers and profit-and-loss statements.

We provide automated software tools only, not human bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, or legal services.

3. AI Limitations & Important Disclaimers

BookJonas is an artificial intelligence system and may make mistakes. All outputs are generated algorithmically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or require manual review.

Specifically, we do not:

  • Provide financial advice.
  • Provide tax advice or file taxes on your behalf.
  • Provide legal advice.
  • Guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any output.

You are solely responsible for reviewing all outputs and confirming their accuracy before making financial, tax, legal, or business decisions. Always consult a qualified professional (e.g., accountant, tax preparer, lawyer) before acting on any information provided by our Services.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you understand these limitations and that reliance on AI-generated outputs without independent verification is at your own risk.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Delaware, USA, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

You waive any right to participate in a class action or jury trial. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
